Reps will promote Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) for patients on Plavix (clopidogrel) who need a PPI.

Dexilant labeling now says it CAN be given with Plavix. But reps may not tell you that the same is true for generic lansoprazole.

The Plavix and PPI interaction is still controversial.
